Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro Intermediate Care

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour rotations (18:45 - 07:15)

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care for an intermediate population specialized in neurological and medical patients. The role requires a strong teamwork approach and adherence to Novant behavioral expectations in all interactions with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Care for neurological and medical intermediate patients.
• Monitor telemetry and manage IVs, drips, and ventilators.
• Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Float to other intermediate areas and critical care as needed.
• Work weekends as required (3 weekends every 6 weeks).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with neuro experience preferred.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Must possess a valid RN license.
