Vector Windows is seeking an energetic and driven Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, building strong relationships, and helping shape the employee experience from recruitment through retention. Schedule & Flexibility We believe every employee deserves access to HR regardless of which shift they work. This role bridges the gap between our day and evening operations, spending most of the day supporting our daytime teams before providing HR coverage for our second-shift employees during the last few hours of the workday. We're open to creating a schedule that works for the right candidate, including options such as:
- Four 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday with every Friday off)
- Four 9-hour days with a half day on Friday
- Flexible start times while maintaining evening coverage until approximately 9:00 p.m.
- Partner with leaders on employee concerns and policy interpretation
- Support leave administration, benefits, and compliance
- Maintain employee records and HR systems
- Recruit and hire hourly and professional positions
- Manage job postings, interviews, and onboarding
- Build community recruiting partnerships
- Support retention initiatives and employee engagement efforts
- Assist with succession planning and workforce development
- May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related field.
- 1+ years of recruiting experience is required.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the HR field.
- Has strong work ethic, always consider the Company's best interest before making a decision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and professional presence.
