Details Acute care hospital setting, covering acute inpatient, acute rehab, transitional care, and outpatient services Primary assignment area is outpatient orthopedics, with orthopedic cases comprising approximately 80–100% of caseload Patient population includes orthopedic, CVA, MS, and head injury diagnoses Approximately 12 patients treated per day Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday (Fridays off) No weekend or holiday requirements Charting systems include MEDITECH for acute care and ReDoc for outpatient documentation Requirements Active Oregon OT license required — license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of OT experience required Current BLS certification required (pending certifications not accepted) Experience with orthopedics, hands, elbows, and shoulders is essential 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Valid driver's license required Additional Information Primary responsibilities involve outpatient orthopedic therapy, with additional coverage across acute inpatient, acute rehab, and transitional care Lymphedema training is a plus Support staff includes rehab aides; no COTAs on the unit Department-specific orientation provided (approximately 12 hours) Scrubs are required; denim is not permitted Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit or affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates placed PRN through outside firms will be considered American Traveler Job ID P-700815.
