$23$25 per hour
Perform maintenance and repair work on commercial diesel trucks
Diagnose mechanical issues and complete required repairs
Work specifically with Freightliner and International trucks
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
Maintain a safe and organized work area
Follow established maintenance and workplace-safety procedures
Properly use tools and required personal protective equipment
Minimum 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience
Informal or hands-on mechanical experience may be considered and evaluated during the interview
Experience working with Freightliner trucks required
Experience working with International trucks required
Spanish-speaking candidates are accepted; English is not required for this position
Ability to diagnose and repair commercial diesel vehicles
Ability to perform physically demanding mechanical work
Closed-toe shoes required
Long hair must be secured while working around equipment
Safety glasses provided as required
Gloves provided as required
Protective masks provided when necessary
No specific uniform required
Long sleeves or a mechanic jumpsuit are commonly recommended for the work environment
DOT 10-panel drug screening required before starting
