PASTRY COOK/BAKER - GREATER COLUMBUS CONVENTION CENTER Position Title: [[title]] Pay Range: $16.00 to $16.00 Diversity of thought and inclusion for all is what drives our success - we invite you to start your journey with us today! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists with the daily production and distribution of all pastries, desserts and baked goods. Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures. Operates and cleans equipment after each use. Performs scheduled routine cleaning. Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy. Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications A high school diploma or GED certificate a plus Completion of a culinary school program or apprenticeship a plus Pastry-making experience (a resume is required) The ability to stand for long periods of time A flexible schedule, especially during the holidays and client events Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
