Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify and meet business intelligence needs. Your expertise in data modeling, design, development, and deployment of Power BI solutions will be essential in improving data-driven decision-making across the organization for new platform/product development.Responsibilities:- Develop, design, and implement end-to-end Microsoft Power BI solutions, including but not limited to comprehensive data models, DAX calculations, complex interactive dashboards, and reports.- Collect and analyze business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to translate them into compelling data visualizations and reports.- Optimize data models for efficient data retrieval, transformation, and visualization to ensure optimal performance and user experience.- Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate various data sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.- Continuously explore and evaluate new features and functionality in Power BI, suggesting improvements and enhancements to the existing data infrastructure.- Assist in training and mentoring junior Power BI developers, sharing best practices and driving knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in data visualization, data modeling, and analytics to further enhance our Power BI capabilities.Requirements:- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI development, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.- Expertise in developing complex data models, DAX calculations, and interactive dashboards using Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and Power Pivot.- Strong understanding of data visualization and design principles, utilizing Power BI's various chart types, filters, and custom visuals.- Proficient in SQL querying and data manipulation for data integration and transformation purposes.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex datasets and demonstrate critical thinking.- Experience with data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.- Familiarity with data governance and security practices within Power BI.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to effectively present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.- Microsoft Power BI certification(s) is a plus.
