Outside Sales Representative – Steel Industry
Location: El Paso, TX or Austin, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Join Our Team
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the steel industry, excels at developing new business, and has an established network of industrial customers.
Responsibilities
Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
Manage and expand a portfolio of industrial and commercial customers.
Identify customer needs and provide steel solutions that add value.
Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close profitable sales.
Maintain strong relationships with contractors, manufacturers, fabricators, and distributors.
Achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer service and on-time deliveries.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience in the steel industry.
Established network of industrial or construction customers is highly preferred.
Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
Self-driven with a proven ability to generate new business.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Compensation
Base Salary: $25,000 per year
Performance-Based Commission: Up to $40,000 per year
