As well as supporting project engineering in AQP process for awarded business.Tool Project Costs & timing and Piece Price Estimating for but not limited to new or transfer molds, prototypes, engineering changes and tool refurbsEvaluating customer specifications for manufacturability & feasibility.Identify manufacturing strategy that optimizes efficiency, quality, and profitability.Mold Filling Simulations to be used for cycle time estimates and to identify manufacturing / feasibility issuesCreate preliminary layouts of tool concept for feasibility, timing, and estimated costs to be based onEngineering representation in customer feasibility reviewsAttend AQP 1 & 6 meetingsIQMS quote processQuote worksheet feasibility reviewTechnical recommendations and expertise on Raw Material selection & processingReview and understand applicable customer specific requirements.CAD software proficiency to create layouts and make part design changesAbility to read blueprints, GD&T, technical drawings, and specificationsEffective Customer CommunicationMathematical knowledge to perform calculations for volumes weights and dimensions accurately.Understanding of Raw Material properties and their suitability to meet product design requirementsUnderstanding of tool and plastics manufacturing methods and cost driversFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
