Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Systems Analyst responsible for overseeing all strategic and acquisition support activities for the Secretary of the Air Force Acquisition Capability Division. The Systems Analyst will provide technical and functional IT services to support the integration of ongoing acquisition process enhancements into the overall DoW approved Air Force acquisition enterprise systems This position is located in Arlington, VA.

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:

Serves as the primary technical interface to the Government. Assist with requirements definition and refinement; process reengineering; evaluating Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software; and performing alternative system design reviews. Evaluate emerging IT capabilities (to include identifying and evaluating prototype solutions that insert Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning into daily business operations) and presenting technical findings to the Government for consideration. Assist with benchmarking, operational capability demonstration, and integration of commercial program/portfolio management tools, source selection tools, and modeling/simulation tools. Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation, communication products, and resource documentation supporting Government directed acquisition activities. Assist with Business Process Reengineering and Enterprise Architecture efforts to ensure compliance with National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) requirements for defense business system modernizations. Assist with the Business Capability Acquisition Cycle (BCAC) process, specifically by providing technical support in the areas of IT governance, security reviews, business requirements reviews, and overall IT audit compliance.

Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role:

Minimum 8 years of related experience. Master's or Bachelor's with equivalent relevant experience (Computer/Systems Engineering). US Citizenship and active Secret clearance required. ITIL and CISSP Certifications. Occasional travel may be required in support of the mission. Desired qualifications/non essential skills required: Desired Skills: Management experience. Information synthesis, organization, attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to meet deadlines are critical skills for this position. Strong oral and written communication skills for the senior executive level. Ability to assimilate, organize, and distill complex information quickly and efficiently. Ability to produce results in a time constrained environment. Ability to work from high level requirements through detailed specifications. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Must be able to maintain a positive, customer service attitude under stressful conditions.
