Outpatient Family Medicine or Internal Medicine locums coverage in Texas with a predictable weekday clinic schedule and no call. This is full time coverage needed on an ongoing basis while permanent recruitment is underway.

Highlights

• No call requirements.
• Weekday clinic schedule, Monday through Friday.
• Manageable patient volume, 8 to 16 patients per day.
• Ongoing need until a permanent physician is hired.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient clinic.
• Patient panel includes Driscoll employees and their adult dependents.
• All ages.
• Scope includes acute visits, chronic disease management, preventive care, and care coordination with specialty referrals.

Schedule

• Full time, Monday through Friday.
• Scheduled hours are 8a to 5p.
• No call.
• Target start date is late November 2026, with coverage continuing until a permanent hire is in place.

Cases and Procedures

• Diagnosis and treatment of acute medical conditions.
• Management of chronic medical conditions, including individualized treatment plans.
• Preventive medicine and wellness care, including comprehensive physical examinations.
• Ordering and interpretation of diagnostic studies, plus coordination of specialty referrals.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Texas license required, will not wait for license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• BLS and DEA required.
