Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | 36 or 48 hours per week accepted | Contracts of 13–26 weeks accepted

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5–6
• Utilize Epic for documentation, Pyxis for medication management, and SBAR for communication
• Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Care for patients in an isolation area designated for infectious disease precautions; stepdown-level patients are managed by separate staff
• May be assigned to a Storm Team or Hurricane Team and expected to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact RN license (pending licensure acceptable at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
• Must be available for daily orientation classes during week 1 (24-hour orientation total); pre-start modules must be completed prior to start date
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are welcome to apply; a local pay rate will apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Experience floating within a hospital setting
• Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication frameworks
