Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Complex Medicine Med/Surg position in Atlanta, GA, requiring at least 18 months of experience and strong skills with trachs, drips, and vascular access.

Details

• Position is located in a Complex Medicine unit within a hospital setting in Atlanta, GA
• Night shift (NOC), 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract
• Experience with trachs, Heparin drips, Insulin drips, IV insertion, and PICC lines is required for this unit

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Strong clinical skills including tracheostomy care, Heparin drips, Insulin drips, IV insertion, and PICC line management

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• Former permanent staff of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract; if RTO falls on or near a holiday, the maximum is reduced to 3 days
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract
• RTO during the holiday period must be spread out and will not be approved for consecutive days around the same holiday
