Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Basic EKG Interpretation Must-Have Skills/Experience: BLS ACLS NIHSS Basic EKG Interpretation Description: This position requires an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care in a medical-surgical setting. Candidates should have a strong background in managing adult and geriatric patient populations. The role includes caring for patients with common diagnoses such as pneumonia, chest pain, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and post-operative care. The average patient ratio will be 1:5. The work environment will utilize equipment such as SCDs, Baxter IV Pumps, and Epic EHR. Candidates must complete all necessary screenings prior to starting the position. Flexibility to adapt to the demands of the unit is essential. The dress code includes scrub colors of grey, black, or blue. No unacceptable attire is permitted.
