Job Description A Commercial Litigation Associate job involves assisting senior counsel in handling a variety of commercial litigation matters, including researching legal issues, drafting legal documents, conducting discovery, and preparing for and participating in hearings and trials. Commercial Litigation Associate Experience drafting briefs and motions, handling fact and expert discovery, and engaging in deposition and trial preparation. Strong interpersonal, communication, research, analysis, and writing skills, as well as a track record of academic and professional excellence. Assume significant responsibility in the management of your matters, and to take on a front‑facing role with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts. Qualifications Bar membership, active and in good standing, in the jurisdiction (Illinois) where you are practicing, is also required. To be considered, you must submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
