Senior Quality Tech - Port Jervis
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Senior Quality Tech to work with a leading manufacturing company in Port Jervis. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of product quality and compliance through rigorous inspection and documentation processes.
Shift Patterns
- Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Occasional Saturdays required based on business needs
Pay Rates
- 20.00 USD hourly
Requirements for Senior Quality Tech
- Minimum of three years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a related manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in the use of inspection and measurement equipment, including gauges, calipers, scales, and other precision instruments
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and quality management or ERP systems like QAD
Role for Senior Quality Tech
- Perform incoming inspection of component materials to verify compliance with specifications and customer requirements
- Manage the segregation, control, and documentation of nonconforming materials, including initiating Nonconformance Reports (NCRs)
- Support production line quality investigations and collaborate with teams on defect reduction initiatives
- Maintain calibration activities for inspection and testing equipment and draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assist with internal, customer, and regulatory audits to ensure documentation readiness
