Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable  Telehandler Operator to join our team in Monaca, PA for short term project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating telehandlers and other heavy construction equipment, a strong commitment to job-site safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The Telehandler Operator will be responsible for safely operating telescopic forklifts to lift, move, and place materials around the job site while supporting construction crews and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate telehandlers and other material-handling equipment.
• Load, transport, lift, and position materials throughout the job site.
• Inspect equipment before each shift and report mechanical or safety issues.
• Follow OSHA, company, and job-site safety requirements at all times.
• Safely maneuver equipment in tight areas, uneven terrain, and around personnel.
• Use proper attachments and lifting techniques based on the job requirements.
• Assist construction crews with material placement and general job-site operations.
• Maintain clear communication with ground personnel, supervisors, and other equipment operators.
• Secure and handle loads properly to prevent damage, injuries, or accidents.
• Keep equipment clean and perform basic operator-level maintenance.
• Maintain awareness of overhead obstructions, power lines, changing ground conditions, and other job-site hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating a telehandler or similar heavy equipment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate a telescopic forklift in a construction or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of load capacity, equipment stability, and safe lifting practices.
• Ability to read and follow job-site instructions and safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required by the position.
• OSHA or other applicable equipment certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license

$32.00 hr and $140.00 day per diem
