Full-Time From $16.25/hr Posted 23 days ago Ride buses and assist driver to provide safe and orderly transportation of students. Responsibilities Assist in loading and unloading of students according to their individual needs. Maintain discipline and report student discipline problems to the appropriate administrator. Assume responsibilities for learning and adapting to each student's special medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs. Communicate with teachers and parents on a daily basis about student behavior while on the bus. Follow emergency procedures and help driver administer first aid, if necessary. Stay current with Special Needs training. Operate equipment according to established safety procedures. Regular attendance; must be willing and able to report to work at the designated work site on a regular daily basis according to established work schedule. Assist substitute drivers with route directions and student stop locations. Comply with district policy and procedure. Perform other duties and repsonsibilities as assignedby the supervisor. Duties may include driving a district vehicle to include cars, suburban for the purposes of student transportation and other operational duties.
