Registered Nurse - Primary Care

Role Overview This position involves practicing professional nursing by performing both independent and delegated medical functions in compliance with standards. Responsibilities include initiating and delivering patient care focused on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions, utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills across biological, physical, social, and behavioral sciences. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and emergency policies; maintain patient safety during medication administration, procedures, and infection control. Evaluate health status through data collection and assessment, analyze reports, and identify healthcare problems to develop care plans. Prioritize patient needs, triage in person or via phone, and implement appropriate actions following protocols or provider guidance. Assess emergency situations, administer treatments including intravenous therapies, and provide health education and counseling. Execute delegated medical functions consistent with medical plans, and refer patients to specialists or community resources as needed. Coordinate care across healthcare services, manage patient populations, and lead nursing practice and service quality. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care delivery. Qualifications Minimum one year of RN experience. Graduation from an approved RN program with clinical experience supervised by faculty or preceptors. High School Diploma or GED required. Current RN license in the applicable state. Basic Life Support certification within three months of hire. Additional Skills Strong customer service skills, customer focus, and understanding of patient needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
