Field Service Engineer

Field Sales/Service Engineer By joining DAQ, you will serve as the primary technical resource for the field sales force, driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and acting as the technical advisor and product advocate for our products. Responsibilities Develop and deliver product demonstrations Provide product training for VARs and customers Attend and participate in field events such as conferences and seminars Respond to technical elements of RFIs/RFPs Provide product support/service via phone and on-site visits Convey customer requirements to Product Management Participate in lab testing Prepare detailed trip and status reports Manage customer-specific projects and programs Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in security systems and the marketplace Familiarity with DAQ products and line of business is a plus B.S. in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred Strong presentation and written communication skills Self-motivated, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches Prepared for extensive travel Benefits Competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and term life insurance, a company-matched 401(k) plan and an educational reimbursement program.
