Take the next step in your career with us! Position Specific Description NextEra Energy is seeking a skilled and experienced PV Solar Field Tech I to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, and troubleshooting of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working in the solar energy industry. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and inspection of PV solar systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to PV solar systems, including inverters, modules, and monitoring systems. Conduct electrical testing and measurements to verify system functionality and compliance with relevant guidelines. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide technical feedback and assist in system optimization. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. Document all work performed, including system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance activities. Provide training and support to other team members and contractors as needed. Site Technicians in a solar region perform duties in the following but are not limited to safety, contractor management, electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, overall site operations, asset management and regulatory compliance, reliability engineering, and inventory management.
