Staff RN - Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit (Nights)

Role: Night Shift Registered Nurse, working 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., every other weekend, at 0.4 FTE (16 hours weekly). Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered nursing care, assess individual needs, communicate care priorities, and delegate tasks to LPNs, PCAs, and other staff. Implement and evaluate evidence-based care plans, monitor physical, psychological, and social needs, and ensure safety and quality. Maintain documentation per organizational standards, participate in quality improvement activities, and stay informed about workplace updates. Practice professional nursing in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics and promote patient advocacy. Qualifications: BSN or Associate degree with a commitment to obtain a BSN within 5 years, valid Ohio RN licensure, current CPR certification, and willingness to acquire additional certifications such as NRP, PALS, or ACLS as required. Skills & Requirements: Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills. Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, reaching, and standing.
