Job Title: Manager, Security Operations Job Code: 41345 Job Location:Palm Bay, FL Job Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: L3Harris is seeking a Security Operations Manager in Palm Bay, FL. This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day physical security operations across multiple L3Harris facilities in Brevard County, FL. This position provides leadership for security personnel, contract guard services, and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, customer requirements, and applicable government regulations. Essential Functions: Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards Oversee access control systems, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems Direct incident response activities and crisis management response Lead workplace violence prevention and active threat preparedness Manage security technology, system upgrades, and improvement efforts Partner with Facilities, Industrial Security, HR, Legal, Ethics, and Environmental Health & Safety Build strong working relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies Support internal audits, investigations, customer assessments, and government inspections Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, safety, customer focus, and continuous improvement Lead and develop a high-performing security team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. Active Secret clearance Experience leading supervisors and/or contract guard forces Preferred Additional Skills: Experience managing corporate or physical security operations Knowledge of NISPOM, ICD 705, DoDM 5205.07, CTPAT, and related security regulations Experience supporting SCIFs, SAPFs, or classified facilities CPP, PSP or other industrial security certification #LI-KB1 L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
