Trainee Business Analyst

Job Summary We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fresher Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, good communication skills, and a passion for problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Work closely with senior business analysts and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into requirements. Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements, workflows, and processes. Support in preparing functional specifications, process maps, and use cases. Help in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and trend identification. Participate in stakeholder meetings and document meeting notes, action items, and follow‑ups. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including development, QA, and project management. Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal use. Contribute to testing activities including UAT and validation of solutions against requirements. Key Skills and Competencies Basic understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools. Good analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Tableau is a plus. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ECBA – Entry Certificate in Business Analysis) are a plus but not mandatory. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Internship or academic project experience related to business analysis, data analysis, or product management. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
