Employment Type Full time Day Shift Responsibilities Develop and implement patient-specific nutritional care plans, interventions, and goals as per Nutrition Practice Guidelines and Clinical Nutrition Policies. Provide information on Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to physicians and other allied health care team members as needed. Guide Diet Technicians to ensure appropriate MNT is delivered to patients. Monitor for food and drug interactions and make appropriate interventions. Educate patients on Food/Drug interactions when appropriate. Document all assessments, patient education, nutrition care plans, interventions, and goals in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) using Standardized Language and the Nutrition Care Process. Collaborate with physicians and other allied health care team members to clarify orders, recommend appropriate MNT, and exchange patient information. Work Hours / Shift Full‑time, 40 hours per week, Days Requirements Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition, dietetics, or a related field. Registration as a dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and state licensure as a licensed dietitian/nutritionist (LDN). Maintain registration and licensure per guidelines. Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a dietitian, preferably in a healthcare environment. Analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources, synthesize a problem list, and devise/implement interventions. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including explaining clinical concepts to physicians, other health‑care team members, patients, and families. Enforce policies and regulations in difficult situations or perform other duties requiring comparable communication skill.
