Base pay range $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr What you'll do Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: Understand the processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise (for example, taste, preparation method or use, seasonality); prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards; maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines; adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; use digital tools; manage inventory to stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and respond to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work; comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.
