Fellowship Coordinator 1 (Hybrid Opportunity)

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is a dynamic and innovative center dedicated to excellence in research, medical education, and clinical care. Our division is driven by over 100 faculty, clinician educators, and instructors who are the pillars of strength in the Division's ongoing efforts in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The Division is actively involved in all levels of pre-doctoral and post-doctoral education within the Stanford School of Medicine. The goal of the Stanford Cardiovascular fellowships training program is to foster the development of careers in academic cardiovascular medicine. Training is focused on providing a solid base of clinical cardiologic training, including the development of expertise in both non-invasive and invasive cardiologic diagnosis and vascular medicine. The program also provides training in investigative skills that are necessary for an academic career. Substantial laboratory or clinical research is a required component of the program. Other advanced fellowships administered through the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine include fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease, Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Advanced Heart Failure Transplant Cardiology, Cardiac Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology, Advanced Cardiac Imaging and Women’s Cardiovascular Disease. The role of a Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Program Coordinator is to manage, organize, and maintain fellowship educational processes and policies according to GME and ACGME guidelines. The coordinator will work closely with the Program Manager, Program Director(s), and fellowship team in order to ensure that the fellows are on track with their program education.
