We currently have an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor! Schedule: 1st or 2nd Shift Start Time. Full Time position, overtime if necessary.

Scope Of Responsibility

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of all warehouse operations. Assists operations manager with developing, updating and implementing efficient and safe operating procedures for all warehouse activities. Ensures procedures for shipping, receiving, housekeeping and storing of materials are being followed. Ensures materials received and shipped are done in an accurate, timely and efficient manner. Supervises, trains and develops staff. Develops and maintains effective working relationships and communicates effectively with internal and external customers.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist in updating layout of warehouse and other storage areas, to accommodate changing business conditions.
• Assigns workers to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming products and assembling customer orders for delivery.
• Advise employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped.
• Advise employees on the safe and proper methods of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping.
• Review records and recommend actions to reduce or eliminate slow moving and excess stock.
• Review and participate in updating operating procedures as necessary.
• Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
• Operating Forklift and pallet riders. Assisting in training new employees on these products.
• Schedule appropriate staffing during periods of heavy workload and for periodic inventories.
