Software Engineer Sr You will be the Software Engineer Sr for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. What You Will Be Doing As a Software Engineer Sr, you will be responsible for developing and integrating software solutions for real-time embedded systems, including hardware in the loop (HWIL) environments. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Develop Embedded Software in C/C++ (version 11 or higher) Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Basic Qualifications: Must have Active SECRET Clearance BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field The candidate must have previous HWIL experience working with real time embedded systems using both HW/SW Proficiency in C/C++ (version 11 or higher for C++) Proficiency in Linux systems and Real-Time Operating Environment Experience working in cross-discipline/cross-functional teams Experience Integrating hardware and software Experience in real-time software generation, with hands-on experience related to hardware testing and/or embedded systems and/or a simulation systems Ability to physically come on site in Dallas and work in labs to support integration Desired Skills: MS or greater in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field Ada experience Full software development life cycle experience Git, Gitlab, JIRA Agile experience (scrum) Experience integrating closed loop systems Experience with automated testing frame works as well unit testing Experience with low level software development /device drivers Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
