Job Description

Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, delivering products by car, and navigating adverse terrain. Requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards. Access to an insured vehicle for delivery. Training and orientation provided on the job.

Essential functions/skills include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing accurately, making correct monetary change, verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders, motor coordination, and navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within a designated delivery area.

Work conditions include exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas, sudden changes in temperature, fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing includes talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments include directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working along and with others, working under stress, meeting strict quality control standards, dealing with people, analyzing and compiling data, making judgments and decisions.

Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, driving, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching are all part of the job.
