Work Locations & Areas We Serve:

We're hiring caregivers throughout Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Concord, Clayton, and Pinole , with additional shifts available across surrounding Contra Costa communities. We respect your time and work hard to match you with clients close to home, keeping your daily commute short.

What You'll Do:

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene

• Support meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping

• Provide medication reminders and monitor client well-being

• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting to the office

• Adhere to SYNERGY HomeCare's infection control, HIPAA, and dress code policies

• Report any changes in a client's physical, mental, or emotional condition promptly

• Clock in and out accurately using our mobile app or assigned timekeeping method

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)

• Proof of current 2-step TB testing (or ability to obtain)

• Current CPR / First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)

• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with the state of California (or willing to register)

• Must be bondable and pass a national criminal background check

• Satisfactory professional and personal reference check

• Ability to complete SYNERGY HomeCare orientation and assigned online training modules

• Physically able to perform light to moderate exertion including standing, walking, kneeling, and assisting with client repositioning

Benefits:

• $21.00 – $23.00/hr base pay — competitive pay based on experience

• $2.00/hr Attendance Bonus — earn an additional $2.00/hr (up to $25.00/hr total) by completing all agreed-upon shifts during the pay period
