As a Driver, you'll play an important role in helping patients get safely and comfortably to and from their healthcare appointments. We're looking for a dependable, safety-conscious individual who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent service, and can be counted on to keep our transportation services running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport patients to and from MCHC Health Centers.
• Provide courteous assistance to ambulatory passengers getting into and out of the vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with patients, clinic staff, and your supervisor regarding schedules, delays, service interruptions, or other transportation updates.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times, including during shared transportation.
• Keep the company vehicle clean, sanitary, and welcoming by removing trash and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces between transports.
• Maintain vehicle service and maintenance records and assist with coordinating routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, washing, and vacuuming.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Highschool diploma or GED
• Active California Driver's License
• Clean driving record and insurable by MCHC Health Centers' commercial insurance carrier
• At least 4 years of driving experience in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual, English/Spanish, Fluent
• 6+ months of related professional driving experience
• 1+ years of driving experience in Lake and Mendocino counties

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour, DOE
