What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications that deliver the AI-powered clinical documentation platform to clinicians on their preferred devices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineering teams to translate complex healthcare workflows into intuitive mobile experiences.
• Contribute to mobile architecture decisions, establishing patterns and standards that scale with the product and team growth.
• Integrate with EHR systems and third-party healthcare APIs, addressing the unique technical and compliance considerations of the healthcare domain.
• Champion engineering best practices including code review, testing, and continuous delivery within the mobile discipline.
• Mentor and support fellow engineers, enhancing the technical capabilities of the team.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and usability gaps to ensure a seamless experience for clinical users.

Ideal Candidate Background

• Proven track record as a senior or staff-level mobile engineer, with deep expertise in iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin), or cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
• Strong foundation in mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and a thoughtful approach to building maintainable, testable codebases.
• Experience building and shipping production mobile applications with a focus on reliability and performance at scale.
• Comfortable working in regulated environments, with an understanding of data privacy considerations relevant to user-facing applications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and design teams.

Preferred

• Experience building mobile products in healthcare or other regulated industries, including familiarity with HIPAA considerations.
• Familiarity with EHR integrations or healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7.
• Background working with AI or machine learning-powered features on the client side, including audio capture or real-time processing.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $179K to $290K, reflecting the candidate's experience and expertise. The company offers a hybrid work environment, promoting a balance between collaboration and flexibility.
