Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• State certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Experience designing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavior management strategies
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Previous experience in K-12 special education settings highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and execute IEPs tailored to student strengths and needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers and support staff
• Employ adaptive teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed to promote academic and social growth
• Maintain detailed and accurate student records in compliance with legal and district guidelines
• Engage actively with families to foster a supportive and communicative educational partnership
