Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Valid School Social Worker licensure (or eligibility) for Minnesota
- Previous experience working in educational or youth-focused settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Knowledge of school-based intervention strategies and crisis response
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide direct counseling/support to students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources
- Lead or participate in student support teams and individualized education plan (IEP) meetings
- Provide crisis intervention and assist with conflict resolution in school settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district and state requirements
