Software Dev Engineer II, Quick Commerce

We are looking for a Software Engineer for the Amazon Now team to help ensure we have a compelling and friction-free ‘delivery in minutes’ experience available to our customers, and help drive continuous innovation and improvement of the delivery experience across all phases of shopping, buying, and post-purchase.This is a true 01 opportunity where your code will directly impact how millions of customers shop on Amazon Now.Key job responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable customer-facing applications and backend services for the Amazon Now platform- Collaborate with Senior SDEs, Principal Engineers, TPMs, and Product Managers to define technical solutions that solve customer problems at scale- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following Amazon's engineering best practices- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions- Own the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and operations- Drive continuous improvement in system performance, reliability, and seller experience- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the engineering bar across the team- Work in a fast-paced, agile environment with rapid iteration cyclesAbout the teamWe are fast-paced and focussed team made of passionate and ambitious Amazonians who strive to build industry leading products while closely collaborating and having fun. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
