Utility Prep Cook Requirements Experience in food service or restaurant service. Must be able to push, pull, lift, grasp, and carry items up to 60 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Two years’ experience in food service or equivalent. Experience in general cleaning procedures. One year’s experience in cooking large quantities of food preferred. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of meals according to selected menus and standardized recipes under the supervision of the Manager of Nutritional Services.
