Staff Pharmacist
Join a growing, innovative pharmacy team focused on making medications more accessible, affordable, and convenient for patients nationwide. We're seeking a Staff Pharmacist to conduct Drug Utilization Reviews (DURs), ensure medication safety, and support a high-quality pharmacy operation.
What You'll Do
- Review and evaluate prescriptions for accuracy, safety, dosing, and drug interactions
- Perform clinical Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR)
- Provide guidance to patients, providers, and pharmacy staff
- Support automated pharmacy systems and troubleshoot workflow issues
- Ensure compliance with DEA, state, and federal pharmacy regulations
- Investigate and resolve medication-related concerns and errors
- Maintain accurate documentation and controlled substance records
Qualifications
- Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in your state
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Experience with pharmacy systems and technology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Prior authorization or utilization review experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
