Overview The Maintenance Technician ensures overall machine and system efficiency through performance of best-practice Preventive Maintenance (PM), projects, programming, and repairs, with a focus on advanced technology equipment such as robotics and automated systems. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, and repairs to minimize downtime on industrial production lines Install, modify and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems Respond to scheduled maintenance tasks and emergency repair situations Maintain accurate inventory and other documentation Communicate and collaborate effectively to support continuous improvement and drive overall plant performance Key Requirements Proven experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in an industrial environment Proficiency with welding, reading blueprints, wiring panels and PLCs Demonstrated reliability with strong attendance and work ethic Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work Capability to work in challenging industrial environments (heat, noise, heights, etc.) Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening WIFM Union wages and outstanding benefits Steady weekday 4x10 schedule Medical, prescription, dental, vision premiums at no cost to employee, including family coverage Pension, 401K, paid holidays, paid vacation, opportunities for advancement and more Company Profile Founded in 1978, DMI Companies is a family-owned business and a trusted leader in manufacturing HVAC accessories for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
