Salary: $72,800 - 93,600 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in technology, engineering, or a related field; finance knowledge is also required.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• At least 3 years of Smartsheet experience.
• At least 5 years of experience creating performance dashboards using data from multiple sources.
• At least 5 years of experience with reviews, project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• At least 5 years of experience with portfolio scope, schedules, estimates, and benefits.
• At least 6 years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
• At least 5 years of financial data analysis experience.

• Define business requirements, establish scope and objectives, and develop implementation strategies for business systems that support business goals and user needs.
• Gather and prioritize customer requirements, collaborating with business functions to help meet customer satisfaction goals.
• Own functional specifications and serve as a functional expert, translating business needs into product capabilities and defining quality assurance, reporting, and alerting requirements.
• Lead the Business Case Challenge Team development process for the portfolio, coordinating scope, schedule, estimates, and benefits with product teams.
• Conduct analytical and continuous improvement work, including data extraction, technical and financial reviews, performance metric analysis, documentation updates, presentations, and ad hoc assignments.
• Support the broader IT organizations strategic direction, contribute to strategic plans, and identify process improvements that enhance customer experience and simplify the current landscape.
• Stay current on technical and managerial developments in IT and introduce best practices.
• Oversee compliance with cost, schedule, and budget commitments.
• Analyze performance dashboards and scorecards to measure outcomes and identify persistent issues.
• Develop reports and dashboards that provide business management with portfolio visibility.

We are hiring a Business Analyst reporting directly to our Senior IT Program Manager. The role supports business systems and technology enablement and spans eight projects. This is a full-time contract position for 1–2 years, offered on a 1099 or equivalent W-2 basis, with a hybrid schedule requiring three onsite days in South Plainfield, New Jersey. Compensation is $35–$45 per hour for an expected 40 hours per week, and we offer professional development assistance. Interviews are conducted virtually and in person over two rounds, depending on relevant factors.
