Pay rates starting at Pay rates starting at $24.00 Stop Rate (piece rate) includes both the pre-trip inspection and post -trip inspection. $38.50/ per hour is for non route work including training, meetings, moving trailers on the yard.

About the role

As a CDL Driver, you'll not only drive our equipment, but you'll also drive our success! You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily .

What you'll do on a typical day

• Drive 53 ft tractor trailer in and around the site or on public roads
• Touch freight position
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices
• Perform routine inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatch

What you'll need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum you'll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver's License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 18 years old
• A current valid CDL A driver's license and an acceptable MVR

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
