Server Assistant Crush Yard is a vibrant restaurant and bar featuring eight air‑conditioned indoor pickleball courts. Our lively venue offers a diverse menu of shareable classics, beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails. Crush Yard is the perfect place for social gatherings, events, and active fun. We are seeking an energetic and detail‑oriented Server Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role supports servers and bartenders by keeping service areas stocked, running food and drinks, clearing tables, and helping maintain a clean, fast‑paced environment. Your enthusiasm for hospitality combined with excellent communication skills will help deliver memorable experiences to our guests while supporting the overall flow of service. Responsibilities Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering food items to guests efficiently Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces to uphold food safety standards Handle food handling duties with attention to safety protocols and proper hygiene practices Operate POS systems for order entry Support banquet events by setting up tables and assisting with catering needs Provide excellent guest services through friendly communication, phone etiquette, and guest relations And possibly more... Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments preferred, but not required Familiarity with restaurant operations such as bussing, food prep, or serving is a plus Experience with POS systems is beneficial Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques required Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Experience in catering, banquet service, or hotel settings is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or moving supplies Job Details Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Job type: Temporary, Seasonal, Part-time, Full‑time Work Location: In person Benefits Health insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr
