Office Clerk

Northern Sales Company, a trusted name in Ketchikan, AK for over 60 years, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Office Clerk to join our team. As an Office Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring smooth order processing, and assisting both customers and internal teams. Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
• Enter customer orders accurately into the system
• Process and file customer invoices and credits
• Track and update customer order shipments
• Provide sales advertisements and information to customers
• Coordinate purchase orders with the receiving team
• Process special customer orders as needed
• Arrange logistics for pickup and delivery of trailer vans with freight carriers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1–2 years of office clerk or related experience preferred; willingness to learn considered
• Customer service experience
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Dependable, with sound judgment and consistent performance

Compensation

$24.00 per hour
