TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OB/GYN RN in Zanesville, Ohio, 43701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Observation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry/Med Surg experience License: Active registered nursing license Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Epic EMR proficiency required; must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA Description: The registered nurse will primarily work on the Observation unit. The nurse will also be required to float to other Med-Surg units and possibly the Emergency Department if appropriately skilled and knowledgeable. The position requires 36 hours per week with evening shift hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend is required. Taking call will occur very rarely. The registered nurse must have current Epic EMR proficiency, as refresher classes or personalized training are not an option. It is required to document this proficiency in the referral information. Current certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support is mandatory. The nurse must be capable of reading Telemetry/BCRA, and competency will be tested on the first day. Immediate termination will occur if the nurse cannot pass this competency exam or if Epic proficiency is found lacking. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract. All requested time off must be disclosed during the submission process to ensure it is honored. Failure to provide this information may result in removal from the vendor set. Holiday coverage will be required.
