Step into a vital role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a leave replacement assignment. Beginning January 4th and slated through the end of March—with the possibility for extension—you’ll work directly with a caseload of 55 students at a single elementary site. This rewarding opportunity involves collaborating with a mixture of speech-only and resource students, making a meaningful difference in their communication development.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLP licensure, including SLP-CCC certification
  • Previous school-based experience or strong interest in working with elementary students
  • Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring for speech services
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students, developing individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes per school and state requirements
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student goals

Assignment Highlights:

  • Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 3:00 pm (35 hours per week)
