Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Providing specialized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, the RN will deliver critical, compassionate, and efficient healthcare services during their assigned shift. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly and accurately to determine immediate care needs.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols and physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes with appropriate interventions.
• Document patient information thoroughly and maintain detailed records of care activities.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and care plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current state certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent emergency room nursing experience.
• Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations.
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
