Director, Digital Product Portfolio Enablement

Director role leading digital product portfolio enablement at Amgen, responsible for strengthening product management practices, governance, and investment alignment across the enterprise. Will design and facilitate high-level technology portfolio reviews and executive forums while establishing standards for recurring business reviews.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, preparation, and facilitation of Technology Portfolio Reviews for senior executives
- Establish standards and ensure consistent execution of Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews across product teams
- Help portfolio leaders develop coherent digital strategy narratives addressing business outcomes, investment priorities, and value realization
- Define and improve governance structures, decision rights, and escalation processes for digital product decisions
- Identify opportunities to apply automation and AI tools to enhance portfolio preparation and executive engagement
Requirements
- Expertise in product management best practices and portfolio governance
- Demonstrated experience facilitating executive-level strategic discussions and decisions
- Skill in structured problem-solving, narrative development, and strategic communication
- Experience designing and managing enterprise operating rhythms and governance frameworks
- Knowledge of portfolio management, business outcomes measurement, and value realization
- Familiarity with digital product strategy and technology investment prioritization
