Job # 3043400 Network Deployment Technician Apex Systems is immediately hiring for a Network Deployment Technician with a large government client supporting the Navy in Newport, RI! Location: 100% on-site at Naval Station Newport, RI Schedule: M-F, Core Business Hours. 8-hour shifts; 40-hours/week Estimated Duration: Long-term rolling Pay Rate: $40.93/hour Overview: Evaluate communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshoot Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN) Handle network related problems Administer LAN/BAN/WANs Schedule conversions and cutovers Coordinate with all responsible users and sites Specialize experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and testing of complex large-scale computer integrated networks Requirements: Currently active, DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance CompTIA Security+ CE Certification CCNA Certification (or ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment) 4+ years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree in IT-related field (additional years of experience may be used in lieu of degree) Please note that as a contract employee of Apex Systems, benefits include the below with employee contribution*.
