Role Summary:


NurseAmerica is actively seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Labor & Delivery Unit in Torrance, California . This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity for RNs who thrive in a fast-paced, family-centered environment supporting high-risk mothers and newborns.


RNs range from working with the laboring patient, circulating in the OR, PACU services and high-risk postpartum and OB triage patients seen for emergent conditions.


What You'll Do:

• Provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and recovery phases
• Circulate and assist in the L&D OR and PACU
• Monitor fetal well-being and maternal status, interpreting and responding to changes promptly
• Support patients through emergent OB triage needs
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and perinatal support staff
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of assessments and interventions

What We Need from You:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active California RN License
• Current BLS, and ACLS (AHA only - all required prior to start)
• NRP (AAP)
• Minimum 1 year of recent independent experience in L&D
• 1+ year of recent acute care RN experience in a hospital setting
