Medical Physicist - Dallas, Texas

Position : Full‑time Medical Physicist – Medical City location, Dallas Region POD. Key equipment and systems: Varian iX with OBI, Varian 2100CD, Accuray CyberKnife M6, Elekta HDR, GE Discovery RT CT, ARIA, Eclipse, Accuray Precision Planning and Oncentra Brachy Planning. Responsibilities Provide full range of on‑site clinical medical physics support. Occasionally support sites within the region on‑site or remotely. Determine, specify, and access dosimetric and treatment‑planning equipment, including measurement instruments, treatment‑planning systems, water‑phantom systems, film densitometry systems, etc. Advise and consult with physicians to provide guidance to technical staff during patient planning and treatment. Maintain working knowledge of SRS, SBRT, and HDR. Demonstrate experience with Varian linear accelerators. Demonstrate experience with Accuray CyberKnife planning, treatment, and QA. Demonstrate experience with Eclipse treatment planning. Demonstrate experience with HDR planning and treatment—Elekta and/or Varian. Demonstrate experience with ARIA. Qualifications MS or PhD in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP‑accredited graduate program. Completion of a CAMPEP‑accredited Medical Physics residency program. ABR board certified or in the process of obtaining certification. Texas state licensure. RAM license eligibility. Texas Oncology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
