Contract | Onsite | Rotating Shifts (Days 6:45–19:15 / Nights 18:45–7:15) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) | 1 Holiday Required | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Monitor and manage hemodynamic status using advanced monitoring equipment including IABPs and Impellas
• Perform and manage Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT/CVVHD)
• Care for postoperative cardiac surgery patients, including those recovering from CABG and valve procedures
• Float to Adult ICU or Telemetry units with appropriate assignments when CVICU census is low
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact state license required at time of submission
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Proficiency with CRRT/CVVHD, hemodynamic monitoring, IABPs, and Impellas
• Experience caring for postoperative heart surgery patients (CABG and valve procedures)
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Comfort with rotating day and night shift scheduling within the same week
• Experience working in a high-acuity cardiovascular or cardiothoracic ICU environment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
